Best restaurant in Hikkaduwa!
We went to Moon Light on our very first day in Hikkaduwa and kept coming every night during our stay in the beach town! Their portion sizes are huge and the prices are extremely reasonable. Their seafood fried noodles is gloriously well made and with delicious calamaris, shrimps and seer and very reasonably priced at 500 lkr. We kept coming back for it every night. The ambience is quite mediocre but the staff are extremely nice and prompt in their service. On our last day in Hikkaduwa, we had their family sized sea food platter! It was so big (enough for three) and had mussels, prawns, king prawns, seer, tuna, crab and lobster. Probably our best meal in Sri Lanka!

The Best Restaurant in Sri Lanka
This place was just great!! The great always smilling staff was just perfect. During our 9 days in Hikkaduwa we have visited this marvelous place 6 times. The food is perfect, clean, fresh and just delicious. You will feel like at home. The top dishes for me were prawn chopsuey and sea food spaghetti. Value for money. You have to visit this place.

Excellent Food and Service
We decided to eat here on the last night of our stay in Hikkaduwa and we loved it. The 'Elephant Ride' got us in the mood the seafood was just excellent and perfectly cooked. The service was great. All in all it we had a really good time at this beautiful Sri Lankan restaurant.

Great food with healthy options
We really enjoyed the meal that we had here, so much so that we came back for lunch the next day! The grilled calamari tasted lovely, although it seems in Sri Lanka that ‘grilled’ food is possibly shallow fried. We were able to switch the chips for extra salad with no issues, and the portion size that came through was really good. We shared a chicken fried rice as well which was also really good and tasty. My husband had the grilled chicken, which came with a lovely light sauce as well which tasted really nice. the table next to us ordered the lobster and they were able to pick which lobster they wanted - the food when it was served looked incredible!

Great place in Hikkaduwa
We ate here 3 times in our 7 nights in Hikkaduwa. The rice and curry is fabulous we had fish and chicken. The seafood noodles are lovely and also grilled prawns. Portions are huge, so go with an appetite! The the staff are friendly and ask how you like your meals spiced. I would have loved to have tried more dishes but unfortunately my tummy was off so had to play safe a couple of nights n my tummy was good afterwards.

Good Restaurant
We went here on our first night in Sri Lanka. It is on a main street in town with a great view from the balcony. It is not air conditioned, so keep that in mind with temperatures. The wait staff were wonderful and kind. We ordered a variety of foods, mine being the fried rice which was amazing. One of my kids ordered the spaghetti and soon realized that perhaps ordering itallian food in Sri Lanka would yield interesting results - the past was good, but it wasn't what they were used to! The sweet and sour chicken was hands down the best thing on the menu. Our dining partners ordered fresh crab which looked and tasted delicious. Everything was clean and it was very well priced

Best Sea Food Restuarant
This restuarant can be recommended as one of the best in hikkaduwa. Starting from their service the staff were friendly n efficient where as the food were so delicious and filling. Food quantity was really good and totally worth for the money we paid. Most of all the we were really impressed on the fact that the food arrived to our table quickly and all were fresh and filled with its own unique mouth watering flavours. The location is great as it has two stories and near by the main road. Overall we could recommend this restuant to any hikkaduwa lovers who loves to taste the variety of sea food at a affordable and value for money price

Omg!! The best food experience ever!
We all ordered the seafood platter for a really low price, and omg, it was amazing! We all agreed on that this was one of the best dinners we ever had, I can’t see that a restaurant can get a better review than this. The service was also great, I will definitely come back to this place every time when in srilanka.
